Healthy, balanced and tasty | Family-friendly

This is a simple, household favourite which pleases everyone! These home-cooked oven chips are just as good as good as the frozen ones or takeaway and much lower in calories. They're super simple to get right, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and you only need a spritz of oil!
Sausage and chips always feels like a treat but this time it can be healthy too!
INGREDIENTS (serves 4):
8 x Skip and Chick Sausages
8 x medium Maris Piper potatoes
Fry-light or 1-calorie olive oil spray
1 bag of frozen peas
Sea salt
Seasoning of choice (we love rosemary)
METHOD:
Set your oven 210C / 190C Fan / Gas 6.
No peeling, skin on for extra goodness, just wash your potatoes. Chop in half, then slice into wedges so they are all an even size.
Add to a pan of water and par-boil for 5 minutes and drain.
Place in a bowl and coat well with fry-light or an olive oil 1-calorie spray.
Add course sea salt and any herbs - rosemary, chilli flakes or paprika all work well.
Carefully mix and then lay out on a baking tray, ensuring none are touching.
Roast at 210 for 10 minutes
Next add in your sausages on a separate tray and turn down to 200.
Cook for a further 20 minutes until the sausages are cooked through and the chips are crispy.
5 minutes before the sausages and chips are done, place your frozen peas onto boil.
Serve with your favourite sauce and enjoy!
